About

Hi, my name is Siân Rookwood and I am a trainee architect (RIBA Part II qualified) and freelance jewellery designer-maker. I specialise in recycling and upcycling unusual objects and materials to create unique items of jewellery. My work is an attempt to change perceptions about what is beautiful and what isn't.

I was picked as the judges' favourite in the BBC2 series 'Paul Martin's Handmade Revolution' which aired in October 2012 and my Gaia Mantle was subsequently displayed in the V&A Shop, London.

If you would like to ask my anything, or commission something bespoke, simply drop me a line and I'll get back to you as soon as possible to discuss turning your ideas into a reality!

High quality and strong YKK zips are shaped and hand sewn to produce statement, couture pieces - no glue in sight!
