Hi, my name is Siân Rookwood and I am a RIBA Part 2 qualified architect and freelance jewellery designer-maker. I specialise in recycling and upcycling unusual objects and materials to create unique items of jewellery. My work is an attempt to change perceptions about what is beautiful and what isn’t.
I was picked as the judges' favourite on the BBC2 series 'Paul Martin's Handmade Revolution' which aired in October 2012 and my Gaia Mantle (shown above) was subsequently displayed in the V&A Shop, London.
